a) Mixing studies show that both the PT and APTT correct

b) Prothrombin, Factor V and X assays

Inherited defects of the vitamin K pathway are less likely because you would expect the PT and APTT to be more prolonged.

These investigations are all normal aside the factor V level, which is 1 iu/dL

 

What other coagulation factor should now be measured?
